This allows Guild Wars players to share their character builds with the world! Anyone from website owners to forum members can upload their templates to GWTemplates.com and share a link that anyone can visit to download the template. This is a completly free service, and does not require any registration!How do I use GWTemplates.com?There are two sides to GWTemplates, the upload and the download Upload:To upload a file, simple visit the upload page and browser for the template file on your computer. Check the box that says you agree to the TOS (after reading of course) and hit the "Upload Button". Once the file is uploaded you will be given several links. The first set contains the code to display the link as text or as an image on a forum (BB Code). The second set contains the code to display the link as text or as an image on a website (HTML Code). Download:To download a file, visit a link to the download page (Valid downloads have a 32 character identification string at the end). Once you download the file place it in your templates folder within your Guild Wars folder. You may have to restart Guild Wars if it is currently open. That's it!Where is my Guild Wars and template folder?For a default install it will be something like "C:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Templates\Skills". All the files inside should be text files.How long will my templates remain on the website?All templates should remain in the database forever. If something like a server crash happens, it might be possible that the most recently uploaded templates are lost because they haven't been backed up yet. If the unlikely event where storage space is running low, there might be a purging of the oldest, least active template files. And finally, if a user breaks the TOS, all their uploads will be removed from the server.I get some errors when uploading my template!Make sure that the template you upload is an actual Guild Wars Template File. The upload form verifies the contents, if it contains too many characters, or the file size is too large it will reject it! If you do in fact have a actual template file, and the website is rejecting it, please send an email with the file as an attachment, and we will do our best to sort out the problem.Why does your website look so bad?The website was created by a programmer not a designer.
